EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is down 2 cents per bushel,
November soybeans are down 6 cents, December KC wheat is down 3 1/4 cents,
December Chicago wheat is down 3 1/2 cents, and MIAX December Minneapolis wheat
is down 0.0325 cents.

CME GLOBEX RECAP: On Monday, December corn rose 3 1/4 cents, November
soybeans dropped 4 1/4 cents, and December KC wheat dropped 4 cents. Corn, hard
red winter wheat, and spring wheat basis were stronger Monday, while soybean
basis was weaker and soft red winter wheat was steady. As expected, Monday's
row-crop futures markets traded on light volume because of the Columbus Day
holiday. Government reports were delayed until Tuesday. Traders disengaged even
more after Friday's USDA October surprise, which raised corn supplies and
pushed prices nearly to the limit. Large parts of the Corn Belt are progressing
with harvest, though some weather delays may be ahead. Wheat prices are
pressured by headlines reporting that Russia and Ukraine have reportedly agreed
to an energy ceasefire. That said, Ukraine reported on Monday numerous strikes
on its energy infrastructure by Russia even after the report of a ceasefire. On
Tuesday, the USDA will release its delayed Weekly Export Inspection Report and
Crop Progress Report.

OUTSIDE MARKETS: Monday's close showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up
195.60 to 51,850.55 and the S&P 500 down 4.30 to 7,807.24. The 10-Year Treasury
yield ended at 5.24%. Early Tuesday, the December Dow Jones Futures are up 386
points. European markets are higher, with London's FTSE 100 spot futures up
0.87%, Germany's DAX spot futures up 0.6%, and France's CAC 40 spot futures up
0.31%. Asian markets are mixed, with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 1.82% and
China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.1%.
